THE WELLBEING
Catherine O'Mahony
Don't tell me the rain isn't wet.
I brought up the hard white sky,
shushed it from my teeth.
"Dry out under fullstop stars",
you said. I did.
I Breathed in in-even time.
Breathed in some
shortlived handled rain:
warm and stillborn and
passing-up our faces.
Catherine O'Mahony was born in 1978. She lives iin South County Dublin. Writing is her marriage and poetry is her sweetheart.
